Elevation Evaluation is an aptly named course that puts riders through a variety of climbs, from short ramps to sustained climbs, ensuring a comprehensive test of ones climbing legs. The route has very little in the way of recovery, as it dips in and out of steep gradients with barely a flat road in sight.

With climbs at nearly every turn, climbers will have numerous opportunities to make moves, while rouleurs will need to conserve energy for sustained efforts. Attacks will come on each climb, with the toughest being the final ascent, where climbers with extra endurance will attempt to create a gap. Sprinters will find it tough to stay in contention, making this a course best suited to light climbers and punchy uphill specialists.
